In his role as alderman of climate, urban renewal, citizen participation and Dutch-language affairs, he wants to build a sustainable and future-proof city, together with all residents of Brussels. He has a background in architecture. His love for the City of Brussels arose during these studies. Because our city is pre-eminently a free city, where everyone can feel at home. It is this uniqueness of Brussels that brought him into politics. He looks at the city as a great design task where architecture, sociology, anthropology, economics and sustainability come together.
